Hello, my Friend! I’m Jackie Hulm
“You don’t have to be the expert to start. You become the expert by doing and failing forward.” It’s a thought that gave me that ounce of courage to believe in myself, when the evidence supported otherwise.
Before I started building my legacy, I grew up on a small dairy farm in south central North Dakota. This quiet and reserved farm kid found solace in her art, so chose to attend college in Art, earning my degree in Graphic
Design and Teaching. I married my high school sweetheart two weeks later, and we followed a job position for him to a small town where
there were no teaching positions available. A few months later, my sister hosted a home party, and this was the first product that finally
cleared up our skin! I just made my new BEST friend!
She shared the home business opportunity with me, and I gave her every reason I SHOULD NOT start. “I’ve never even sold a Girl Scout Cookie! What could I ever do in sales?” She replied by asking what I liked about teaching. “I love helping them solve a problem. Find a solution, moving from one thought to a new.”
“That’s all you need to do. Teach them the benefits and how to use the products, and she’ll tell you what she wants! ” The glimpse of hope was born. “THAT I can do!” Eight months later, after fearing I was
too shy, didn’t know anyone in the area, and didn’t have the time while working four
jobs, I fought the fear and frustration, and finally said “What have I got to lose?” I decided to start very part-time,
to slowly meet women in my new town, to have that “little extra fun money”,
and slowly let go of my three part-time jobs.
Fast forward 24 years, I’m blessed to have a life that allows
a woman to create a business that fits HER life instead of having to live a
LIFE that fits around her career. It allows
me the flexibility to work around my busy family schedule.And, with two teenage boys and a husband who
travels for work, it’s a definite gift to be your own boss!
I
love getting to make new friends throughout the U. S. , and to teach
women not only skin care & color application, but help them fall in
love with the person in the mirror again. I’m proud to be affiliated
with a Christian based company, that allows me to inspire, mentor and
encourage women to live in their power.
There
are so many advantages
to being an entrepreneur – great tax deductions, unlimited
income potential, all-expense paid trips, quarterly prizes, driving
free, and the list goes on. Most fulfilling? The intangible gifts by
far! Speaking words of truth and worth into women which blesses their
families, and in turn, has tripled my confidence as well!
I’ve
been blessed to have earned 12 company career cars, prestigious Diamond
rings on the National stage, and was recognized as the
“Fastest Rising Team” in the State of ND twice!
Because I made that leap of faith over two decades ago, so many women
have had the opportunity to put their faith, family and career
priorities back in that order.
I’m looking for women much like them. Maybe it’s you or someone you love? Women who
want more than the 9-5 job can offer; women who feel overworked and
underappreciated; women with a servant heart who want to make a difference in
the lives of others.
